AX300 Diesel Product Features
3.0L V6 Diesel Powerhead
The AX300 Diesel’s 3L V6 turbo-charged diesel powerhead delivers up to 50% better fuel efficiency, 27% lower CO₂ emissions, and higher torque than comparable 300hp petrol outboards. With it’s cast-iron block and marine proven heritage, this powerhead will deliver the performance you need.
Hydraulic Gearbox with ZF
Our high-performance and robust transmission system provides smooth, confident changes in vessel direction, effortless docking and enhanced performance via the oil-bathed multi-plate clutch system specifically designed for Caudwell Marine with our partners at ZF.
AXIS Drive Steering System
Our patented integrated hydraulic steering system rotates only the lower unit, keeping the powerhead fixed and stable. With the AXIS Drive set at a 60° angle, the lower unit naturally trims down during turns, reducing the risk of propeller blowout. The result is improved agility, greater stability, and a vessel that’s easier to handle in all conditions.

System
Our integrated Vessel Control System, built for the AX300 Diesel, delivers advanced functionality as standard. With its ergonomic throttle, optional joystick and clear NMEA2000-compatible displays, skippers remain fully in control and informed, whatever their helm configuration.

Propellers
Our contra-rotating propellers ensure effective delivery of the impressive power and torque delivered via our robust powertrain. The outstanding grip and efficiency of this system has consistently impressed all experienced mariners who have tested our propulsion system.
Easy-Access Service Hatch
Our unique easy-service hatch system allows fast access to critical systems and daily checks without lifting the engine or hauling the vessel out of the water. You will have faster servicing and less downtime – vital for you to keep your vessel operating whenever you need it.
